We are recruiting for a Finance Intern to join our team in our Toronto office (hybrid work environment). 


As a Finance Intern, you will be:

  • Assisting with monthly preparation, analysis and reconciliation of expenses
  • Preparing journal entries and maintaining proper support documentations
  • Supporting the team with month end closing deliverables
  • Assisting the semi-annual Budget and Forecast processes
  • Collecting data for various finance-related projects, government surveys and assisting with manual data inputs as required
  • Updating templates, calendars, timelines and other day-to-day activities to support smooth departmental workflows
  • Assisting with ad-hoc reporting and requests as needed amongst the Finance teams

As our ideal candidate, you must:

  • Be working towards completing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Possess intermediate MS Office skills with particular emphasis on Excel, including familiarity with Pivot Tables, H-Lookup, V-Lookup, Formulas and Worksheet formatting
  • Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to details, strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and willingness to learn new tasks/assignments with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrate high level of ownership, accountability and reliability
